Preferred Hotels & Resorts is a portfolio of independent hotels and independent hotel experiences, made up of five distinctive collections: Legend, L.V.X., Lifestyle, Connect, and Preferred Residences. It has announced that 11 new properties will join its global portfolio across North America, Europe, and Africa next year.
Galeria Plaza Monterrey in Nuevo León, Mexico
The fifth addition to the Hoteles Galeria Plaza brand will make its debut in January of next year. It will boast 196 guestrooms, 6 lofts, and 2 master suites. Additional amenities will include a pool and lounge, a terrace with fire pit, a spa, a fitness centre, and 2 eateries offering Mexican and international cuisine.
Son Net, Mallorca
Located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Tramuntana Mountains, the 31-key property will open in spring 2023. Once a 17th century private estate, the site will reopen its doors as a luxury hotel after a period of renovation. Its design will pay homage to this history and feature elements such as rustic wooden beams, stone floors, and antique fireplaces.
sly Berlin, Germany
The property will open next May in Berlin’s Friedrichshain neighbourhood. It will feature 150 guestrooms and suites, a rooftop sauna, a health club, a restaurant, and a 2,368 ft² greenhouse. It will blend indoor and outdoor spaces across the four adjoining buildings that constitute the hotel.
July 2023 will see the launch of this luxury hotel at the crossroads between Marylebone and Mayfair. The property will boast 199 guestrooms, including 29 suites, dedicated hosts on each floor, a rooftop restaurant and bar, a private screening room, and an events space capable of hosting up to 450 people.
Les Grands Voyageurs, Paris
The 138-room property will open its doors in summer 2023 in the Left Bank area of Saint-Germain. Additional amenities are set to include a restaurant and a speakeasy bar that will feature a hidden entrance and a live music and entertainment programme.
These properties will be joined by Serry Beach Resort in Egypt, The Benson Hotel and Faculty Club in Colorado, The Elser Hotel & Residences in Florida, Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences in Florida, Pendry Newport Beach in California, and El Fuerte Marbella in Spain.
