The Oetker Collection will export its European hospitality to the United States with the upcoming opening of its first US property. In collaboration with owner-partner Reuben Brothers, the collection will transform The Chesterfield Hotel in Palm Beach.
The luxury hotel will open its doors at the end of 2023. Located in the heart of Palm Beach, just steps from Worth Avenue and the beach, the building is a historic Palm Beach property. Formerly known as The Chesterfield, the Oetker Collection will rebrand the hotel with the name it bore for over 50 years: The Vineta Hotel.
Parisian interior designer Tino Zervudachi will be responsible for the complete renovation of the hotel. The number of rooms in the hotel will be reduced from 53 to 41 to provide more space and their interiors will offer a fresh and bright palette.
The Vineta Hotel will offer four F&B options to guests. The former Leopard Lounge will be transformed into a restaurant for casual lunches and lively dinners. The property's iconic courtyard will become an outdoor dining venue. A bar will be built in the classic style of the country with a glamorous menu of aperitifs and other drinks. Finally, a new indoor-outdoor restaurant by the pool will offer Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.
The collection recently worked with Reuben Brothers on The Woodward in Geneva and Hotel La Palma in Capri. This first property in the United States will be the twelfth hotel in the Oetker Collection portfolio.
This is a particularly important moment in the history of our collection as we announce our first Masterpiece Hotel in the United States. Many of our current guests are visitors or long-time residents of Palm Beach, so we look forward to extending the Oetker Collection's signature sense of hospitality based on our values of family spirit, elegance, and genuine kindness to this wonderful city with The Vineta Hotel.
Timo Gruenert, CEO of Oetker Collection
We are incredibly excited to be working with Oetker Collection on The Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach - a place dear to my heart and that of my family. With its refined and legendary approach to European hospitality, I am confident that The Vineta will become a Palm Beach landmark for years to come.

The concept behind The Vineta's interior design is to infuse it with a fresh Palm Beach feel by bringing in clean lines, a relaxed vibe and a stylish, younger colour palette. My goal is to create a new address for residents and visitors alike - taking particular care to highlight the outdoor dining areas both poolside and in the courtyard - by creating a cosmopolitan setting that combines European design elements with the destination's unmistakable aesthetic.
