She joins the lodging franchisor from MyEyeDr. and will report directly to its President and Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Pacious. In her new role, she will be charged with championing guest experience, leading the company's marketing, advertising, communications and brand-building functions, developing a future state technology and infrastructure roadmap, and helping support growth aims.
An MBA and BS graduate from Georgetown University, Noha Abdalla boasts over 20 years’ experience in creating business strategies and marketing solutions across a diverse range of fields. She spent 7 years at Discovery Communications where she rose to the position of VP of Marketing for Animal Planet before moving to Capital One. Over another 7-year period, she occupied the roles of Senior Director and then VP of Digital Brand Strategy and Social Media at the banking giant.
In 2018, Noha Abdalla moved into the hospitality industry when she was appointed Global VP, Social Media at Hilton. She then progressed to the role of Global VP, Digital and Content Marketing at the hotel group before joining MyEyeDr. in November 2020. For almost 2 years, she was CMO at the fast-growing eyecare provider. In this role, she launched a new CRM system, an online booking platform, a patient portal, and an in-house media planning and buying function.
