The Accor brand, Mövenpick, made its debut in Hungary with the opening of the country’s first 5-star hotel of a leading international brand.

Mövenpick BalaLand Resort Lake Balaton boasts 109 guestrooms, including 46 suites. Each room has a unique design inspired by Jules Verne’s novel, Around the World in Eighty Days.

The hotel is part of a wider development project, which will include an indoor and outdoor family park called BalaLand. The site is located on the shores of Lake Balaton, Hungary’s second most popular tourist destination.

Pirate Restaurant & Terrace provides contemporary international cuisine, local fare, and brand signature dishes for breakfast and dinner. The hotel’s bar, Reform Club, also evokes Jules Verne’s novel and is designed in the style of a 19th century London club.

Mövenpick BalaLand Resort Lake Balaton's relaxation and leisure offer consists of five spa treatment rooms with three saunas, a salt cabin, a steam room, and a couples therapy room. Additional facilities include a gym, as well as indoor and outdoor entertainment facilities for families.
