The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts has opened the latest addition to its Greek portfolio. Cosme will welcome guests seeking the charms of the Cyclades Islands in a prestigious setting.

The property boasts 40 suites, all furnished with custom-made furniture and locally-inspired decorations. Select suites will also provide guests with access to private pools and views across the Aegean. The main Cosmos Suite additionally features its own terrace, private pool, open-air dining space and sunbeds across 60 m². Furthermore, a private beach and a beach club are reserved for the use of all guests.

The resort was developed by Kanava Hotels & Resorts and its architectural design was conceived by the studio ID Laboratorium. Its structures are all made using local stone and their layout is inspired by the traditional fishing villages and houses that make up the island. The entrance boasts a mural made by artist Christina Mandilari and the resort’s wallpaper and fabrics were handmade by Pierre Frey. Greek artists, such as Margarita Myrogianni and Dimitris Spyros, were also called upon to provide pieces for the resort’s interior and exterior decorations.

The menus at Cosme’s two eateries, Parostia and Volta, were designed by Greek chef Dimitris Spyros. The dishes pay homage to Cycladic cuisine, and guests will also have the chance to learn how to prepare traditional Greek fare themselves in cooking classes held daily. Atop the resort is the Elios Spa. Its offers signature treatments such as the Korres Greek Yogurt Facial, the Aegean Sensation Candle Massage and the Elios Sunlight Wellbeing Journey. A dedicated space for stargazing inside the spa can also be used for meditation and yoga sessions.
