The Marriott Vacation Clubs portfolio brings together three signature brands: Marriott Vacation Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, and Westin Vacation Club.
Marriott’s new vacation ownership portfolio regroups more than 90 premium Marriott, Sheraton, and Westin Vacation Club resorts. It is also integrated into the global Marriott Bonvoy brand portfolio.
Resorts in the new The Marriott Vacation Clubs portfolio span the US, the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Central America, Asia, and Australia. They consist primarily of condo-like accommodations that offer personalisation and access to new destinations and experiences.
A new owner benefit and exchange programme, Abound by Marriott Vacations, is available for eligible owners of the portfolio’s vacation ownership plans. It permits seamless travel among the three brands, access to properties within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, and other travel experiences such as cruises or premiere events.
Owners of a The Marriott Vacation Clubs vacation ownership plan who are enrolled in Abound by Marriott Vacations have the opportunity to achieve Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status or higher.
Non-owners may stay at resorts within the portfolio as renters, thus gaining access to the same villa accommodations and array of on-site amenities.
Finally, members of Marriott Bonvoy renting eligible properties through Marriott channels can accumulate different loyalty benefits when booking at least one day in advance of arrival.
The portfolio launch is accompanied by a marketing campaign entitled More Vacations to Love, which tells the story of the future of vacation ownership and its evolution to fit the needs of next gen stakeholders.
As timeshare ownership continues to grow, especially amongst a younger demographic, we are focused on delivering leisure travel experiences that meet the needs of today’s traveller. Our goal in aligning our signature brands under The Marriott Vacation Clubs moniker is to distinguish Marriott’s vacation ownership options within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, making it easier for Marriott Bonvoy members and general travellers to understand what properties and experiences are available as either an Owner or a rental guest.
