
In order to strengthen its leadership position, the group has announced three new appointments to its sales team.
Raphaël Lanfant as Global Vice-President Channel Sales
Reporting to Joanna Flint, Raphaël Lanfant will be responsible for overseeing the global revenue growth and efficiency of the new Global Channel Sales and Distribution organisation. With over 20 years of experience in various travel-related industries, he was previously Head of Sales Operations and Distribution at Expedia Group. Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, he held the position of Global Head of International Hotel Partnership at Alibaba.
Geoffrey Webb as Vice-President Global Sales Partners
Reporting to Raphaël Lanfant, Geoffrey Webb will oversee the five regional sales teams responsible for developing the group's revenue from travel agencies and tour operators. He joined Mandarin Oriental in 2019 as Director of Commercial Strategy for Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the luxury hotel industry and has worked with brands such as St Regis, Peninsula, IHG, Hilton and Sofitel.
Céline Du as Vice-President Global Industry Partners
Reporting to Raphaël Lanfant, Céline Du will be responsible for sales to global companies and key accounts. She joined the group in 2015 as VP, Sales & Marketing for Greater China. She then became VP of Regional Sales for Asia-Pacific. With 25 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry, she previously worked at Shangri-la and IHG.
