limehome is expanding its presence in Berlin with the addition of 42 new apartments in the Friedrichshain district.

This acquisition involves the former Gold Hotel in Boxhagener Kiez, in partnership with Centralis Immobilien Group. Once the conversion is complete later this year, Limehome will have nearly 750 apartments in Berlin. Furthermore, the 42 units will feature a winter garden accessible to all guests.

"Berlin is one of the top destinations for city trips in Europe. With its mix of international flair and cultural diversity, the capital attracts many guests who like our digital apartment concept. Project developers and property owners also value our approach because we deliver stable returns and are flexible project partners. This is particularly evident in conversion projects such as the former Gold Hotel," - Matthias J. Maas, Head of Expansion at limehome.

The new property near Boxhagener Platz marks Limehome's first location in Friedrichshain, a district known for its high number of overnight stays. This follows the company's previous conversion of a family hotel on Stresemannstrasse in October 2023, further establishing its footprint in the city.

Situated on Weserstrasse, the new Limehome apartments are in a lively area characterized by many bars, restaurants, weekend markets, and the RAW site. The building is a five-minute walk from the Samariter Strasse underground station, offering a direct connection to Berlin Central Station.
