Jean-Claude Lavorel, Chairman and CEO of Lavorel Hotels Group, has announced the launch of the Jean-Claude Lavorel Foundation, focusing on two main areas: the fight against cancer and supporting children in need.

This foundation formalizes the founder’s ongoing commitment to social causes and provides a structured platform for future initiatives. Through the Lavorel Hotels group, Jean-Claude Lavorel has long supported various community-based efforts in Lyon and beyond.

Through this foundation, I wish to ensure that our commitments are long-lasting by supporting meaningful, deeply human projects that align with the needs of our society. - Jean-Claude Lavorel

The group’s initiatives include supporting the Léon Bérard Center, a cancer treatment center in Lyon, through charity events. The company also partners with Ma Chance Moi Aussi, an organization focused on children in need, and helps organize Noël Ensemble, an event for isolated elderly individuals. Additional efforts include participation in the 2500 Voix charity dinner for pediatric cancer research and the Sapo Cycle project, which recycles soap waste from hotels and redistributes it to disadvantaged communities.

In addition to these regular activities, Lavorel Hotels has also contributed to various ad-hoc initiatives supporting organizations such as Handicap International, L’Enfant Bleu, and Café Joyeux in Lyon.

The Jean-Claude Lavorel Foundation is now set to further develop these efforts, focusing on supporting projects related to the fight against cancer and child protection.

With the creation of this foundation, Lavorel aims to continue his commitment to supporting causes that address these significant issues.
