The ranks of Relais & Châteaux are growing with the addition of eight new members, including three from outside Europe, marking the global expansion of the French association.

Grand Hotel Mas d’en Bruno, Torrojat del Priorat, Spain

Located in Catalonia, the hotel features 24 suites, 3 restaurants including the gourmet restaurant Vinum, a spa, a swimming pool and a prestigious wine cellar. Surrounded by vineyards, the hotel offers an off-the-beaten track wine tourism experience.

The two restaurants offer 40 covers inside and 80 covers outside, while the bistro offers 30 covers. The Grand Hotel Mas d'en Bruno is due to open on 19 May.

Helguera Palacia Boutique & Antique, Las Presillas, Spain

This adults-only hotel is a former 17th-century palace with 1 room and 10 suites, as well as a wellness area, a swimming pool and the Trastamara restaurant, where chef Renzo Orbegoso Hinojosa officiates.

Nestled in the heart of the Cantabrian countryside, the hotel features antiques collected by the owner. In addition, local and seasonal products are given pride of place in the restaurant, which seats 40.

Pepe Vieira Restaurant & Hotel, Pontevedra, Spain

Located on the ocean, the hotel offers 14 "galpones" which give the impression of spending a night under the stars. On the F&B side, it is possible during interactive dinners to visit the kitchens of the 2 star and 1 green star restaurant of chef Xosé T. Cannas.

The cuisine features typical Galician dishes, including the use of ancestral techniques and products rediscovered through research by historians, scientists and anthropologists.

Zilte, Anvers, Belgium

The 9th floor of the Antwerp Museum of Contemporary Art houses a 3 Michelin star restaurant run by chef Viki Geunes. Zite, which means salt in Dutch, works in collaboration with local peach trees, market gardeners and craftsmen.

Restaurant La Merise, Laubach, France

On the edge of the Vosges nature park is La Merise, a 2-star Michelin restaurant that uses local products. The fruit, herbs and honey are also produced on site. The 600 m² building houses the expertise of Christelle and Cédric Deckert.

Tributary Hotel & Restaurant Okta, McMinnville, United States

The hotel is positioned as the gateway to the Willamette Valley, the new Eldorado for wine connoisseurs. Shaun Kajiwara and Katie Jackson, who also own a vineyard, were inspired by the region to create this boutique hotel in a century-old industrial building.

The hotel offers eight suites, while the 26-seat gourmet restaurant, led by chef Matthew Lightner, is sourced from the nearby regenerative agriculture farm.

Mii Amo, Sedona, United States

Located in the heart of Boynton's red rock canyon, the 23 casitas and suites allow guests to view the surrounding landscape while enjoying the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Mii Amo offers all-inclusive stays based on a holistic approach. Fresh, local produce is on the menu at the 75-seat Humminbird restaurant.

Naborioji Hotel Nara & Restaurant Le Bois, Nara, Japan

Renovated in 2022, the hotel is located close to the traditional monuments of Japan's former imperial capital, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The contemporary glass and steel building houses 9 rooms and 4 suites as well as a 40-seat restaurant where you can enjoy a classical concert while tasting French cuisine made from local products.
