The InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal has joined the global luxury portfolio of IHG Hotels & Resorts. As the largest hotel managed by BMF Hospitality, it represents a key addition to their expanding portfolio and marks an important step in their growth within the luxury hospitality sector. The hotel is owned by BMF Hospitality and was developed in collaboration with Simon Pinto's PFH holding company.
Originally built in the early 20th century in the Louis XVI architectural style, the château has been carefully renovated to preserve its heritage while incorporating contemporary design elements. The InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal, which is the only recent hotel in this range on the market, features 109 guest rooms and suites that take advantage of natural light. The interiors are inspired by the local environment, equestrian traditions, and Chantilly lace.
Situated just 30 minutes from Paris by train and about an hour and a half by car, the hotel presents an appealing option for those seeking a convenient getaway. Its proximity to the French capital makes it an ideal destination for short breaks or extended stays, offering a peaceful retreat without the need for long travel.
Chantilly, known for its historical sites, equestrian culture, and scenic landscapes, is an attractive destination for both local and international travelers. The InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal is well-positioned to serve this market, providing a base from which guests can explore the region’s highlights, such as the Château de Chantilly and the Chantilly Racetrack, along with the surrounding forests and gardens.
"It is a great honour to be custodian of InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal – a jewel of French heritage. Now reimagined for today’s modern luxury traveller, InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal is truly a remarkable property and the first countryside destination for the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand. The team and I are thrilled to welcome guests to this individualist property and to connect them with the culture of our remarkable region.” - Olivier Resta, General Manager of InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal
Guests can enjoy dining at L’Opéra, a gourmet restaurant located in the château’s former music salon, or at Le Stradivarius, a relaxed setting that was once the library and smoking room. Both restaurants offer French cuisine, using seasonal ingredients from the region.
The hotel’s Spa Biologique Recherche provides a personalized wellness experience, offering a range of treatments to guests. Advanced skincare diagnostics ensure that treatments are tailored to individual needs.
The hotel’s development is a significant project for BMF Hospitality, which owns 50% of the property alongside Simon Pinto. This project is the largest in the BMF portfolio, which includes a range of hospitality assets across France. BMF, led by Michaël and Fabien Bertini, has evolved from its roots in craftsmanship and property development to become a key player in the hospitality sector. With a total of 280 keys across various properties, including lodges, chalets, restaurants, and spas, the group is expanding its presence in luxury hospitality. Other assets include the Grand Hotel Soleil d'Or in Megève and the Brindos Cal & Château in Biarritz. The InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal represents the largest property managed by BMF Hospitality and signals the group’s growing strength in hotel operations.
InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal is part of IHG’s expanding collection of luxury properties in France, joining hotels in cities like Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, and Paris.
