IntercityHotel has opened a new hotel in Leiden, expanding its presence in the Netherlands.
The hotel features 115 rooms, a breakfast restaurant, and a lounge with a bar. The lobby, known as the "City Square," provides an open space with seating areas for guests to meet, work, and relax. As for the design, that incorporates urban-inspired elements and regional details.
“With the IntercityHotel Leiden, we are celebrating our second new opening in the Netherlands this year. We want to warmly thank our partners Commerz Real as well as Synchroon and J.P. Van Eesteren, with whom we previously worked to successfully open our hotel at the Breda location,” - Denis Hüttig, Senior Vice President Operations at H World International.
The hotel's staff, called "City Scouts," are knowledgeable about Leiden's attractions and can offer insider tips to visitors. Moreover, the hotel is located next to the train station.
“We warmly congratulate IntercityHotel and Synchroon on the opening of this beautiful hotel in the heart of Leiden’s city center. Following the completion of the IntercityHotel in Breda, we are proud to have built this gem as well and to have contributed to the transformation of the station area in Leiden.” - Marco Peppel, Chief Executive Officer J.P. van Eesteren
The IntercityHotel Leiden is operated by H World International and owned by the Commerz Real Institutional European Hotel Fund. The project development and construction were managed by Synchroon B.V. and J.P. van Eesteren B.V.
“The new IntercityHotel Leiden is both an exciting place to meet and a relaxing oasis - a well-situated hotel that puts its own local interpretation on the urban character. We look forward to welcoming our guests.” - Erwin M. Bruyn, Country Manager Netherlands at H World International
This new hotel aims to provide guests with a comfortable stay while offering a connection to Leiden's cultural heritage.
