IHG has announced that its Regent Hotels & Resorts brand will open its first property in the Middle East. The move comes following the signing of a management agreement with Almuhaysin Group.
Regent Jeddah is set to open in mid-2024 along the city’s waterfront on the Jeddah Corniche, opposite the Formula 1 track.
The hotel will boast close to 182 guestrooms and five penthouses spread across 29 floors.
Its additional amenities will include a 1,500 m² spa by Raison d’Etre, a 200 m² health club with an indoor and outdoor pools, three F&B options, and a lounge.
As part of the brand’s ambition to set a new standard for modern ultra-luxury travel, Regent is reinventing its model. Regent Jeddah will be one of the brand’s first new generation hotels to open globally.
IHG currently operates 39 hotels in Saudia Arabia, with a further 30 in its development pipeline looking forward to 2028.
