He will occupy the role of Vice President of Operations for the hotel group’s Asia-Pacific region including Greater China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Philippines. His principal task will be the overseeing of all Rosewood properties within the zone.
Hoss Vetry arrived at Rosewood in August 2020 where he originally held the position of Regional Vice President and Managing Director of Rosewood Hong Kong. During his time there, he managed the ultra-luxury property and oversaw other group assets such as Rosewood Beijing, Rosewood Sanya, and New World Millennium Hotel in Hong Kong.
A graduate of Arizona State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Hoss Vetry has over 32 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Rosewood two years ago, he spent over 25 years in various senior roles at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company where he worked across North America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
He has also held leadership roles in various associations such as the East China Marriott Business Council, the Sanya Tourism Association and the Qatar Tourism Association. His leadership saw him awarded the Asia-Pacific Continent Guardian Award in 2019.
Hoss has been an incredible asset to the team in Hong Kong, and it is an honour to support his transition into this new larger role as we continue our strategic growth trajectory. I look forward to working closely with Hoss to bring our new vision of luxury-lifestyle hospitality to existing markets throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Sonia Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of Rosewood Hotel Group
