Hilton has announced the signing of a franchise agreement with Bas van de Laar, the owner of the castle estate. The future opening will see the arrival of the brand to the town of Gemert, near Eindhoven. The hotel joins 14 other Hilton trading properties in the Netherlands.
Kasteel Gemert Eindhoven, Curio Collection by Hilton will boast at least 56 guestrooms, 2 restaurants and a bar, an indoor meeting room and a large outdoor event space, as well as spa and wellness facilities featuring an indoor swimming pool.
The upscale property will be redesigned in respect of its historic character yet still present a modern aesthetic. Its interiors were imagined by designer Piet Boon with the goal of offering contemporary accommodations and public spaces with the authenticity and originality expected of the brand’s properties.
Hilton continues to develop its Curio Collection by Hilton portfolio across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, now boasting more than 60 hotels trading or under development. With plans to enter seven new markets in the region within the next three years, more and more guests will be able to take advantage of the brand’s distinct character and authentic upscale offering. Kasteel Gemert Eindhoven, Curio Collection by Hilton, will be a unique opportunity to experience an impressive 14th-century castle hotel near the city of Eindhoven, a hub for technology and design.
