easyHotel, has announced its latest project in Ferney-Voltaire, France, near the Swiss border. Expected to open in early 2027, this new hotel will feature 141 eco-conscious rooms and is part of the brand's ongoing growth, with six hotels currently in development and additional projects being explored.
Located near Geneva, the Ferney-Voltaire hotel will provide easy access to the city and Geneva International Airport, supported by an extended tramway line. The hotel is also located near the Palexpo International Conference and Exhibition Centre and adjacent to a shopping center with various dining options. With travel times of 15 minutes to the airport and 25 minutes to Geneva’s city center, it offers an ideal location for both business and leisure travelers.
In keeping with easyHotel’s focus on affordability and sustainability, the property will provide essential comforts at a competitive price point. Concerning the amenities, the hotel boasts quality mattresses, soundproofing, and blackout curtains, with room types including standard, superior, and family options. The hotel will also offer a continental breakfast and parking facilities equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles.
This project marks easyHotel’s fourth location in France and its sixth in the Swiss region, expanding the brand’s presence in key European markets. The Ferney-Voltaire site follows easyHotel’s expansion into airport locations, with a property launched at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in 2022. easyJet has also operated a base at Geneva Airport since 1999, further strengthening the brand's connection to the region.
To finance the Ferney-Voltaire project, easyHotel has partnered with BRED-Banque Populaire, securing a loan of €8.6 million. This financing builds on previous collaborations between the two companies for easyHotel’s projects in Marseille and Paris, supporting the brand’s European growth strategy.
