Dils, Italy’s leading real estate player, has announced the launch of a new division dedicated to Hospitality & International Growth. It will be led by Roberto Galano and Leonardo Gloor. The group has stated expansion plans on the European market, starting with the Netherlands, Germany, and Portugal, to be followed by Poland, Spain, and France.
The new division team will be immediately active in the Italian and European markets. Dils aims to assist clients throughout the entire hotel lifecycle: from concept analysis and design to operator selection and asset disposal. The group will draw upon its knowledge of the office, retail, logistics, living, and residential sectors to support its clients.
Roberto Galano obtained a Master in Hotel Business Administration from Cornell University in 1990. He was appointed Executive Vice-President of JLL - Hotels&Hospitality Group in 1996, where he provided advice to owners, lenders, and investors in Italy. After 25 years in this role, he became an independent Hotel Real Estate Advisor in March 2021. In October of last year, Galano joined Dils as a Senior Advisor.
A graduate of Hotel Institute Montreux, Leonardo Gloor began his career in the hotel industry in the development department of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2017. He joined JLL as an Analyst – Advisory & Transaction in 2019, before being promoted twice. First to the role of Associate – Advisory & Transaction and then Vice-President – Capital Markets in January 2022. Gloor joined Dils last September in a hospitality investment advisory and international growth capacity.
