The Austrian native will join the group and take over his functions as COO on 1st June 2022. He will be tasked with overseeing hotel operations and customer experiences for all Deutsche Hospitality brands and locations.

A graduate of the Tiroler Tourismusfachschule and a holder of a master’s degree in Hotel Administration and Management, Josef Dolp has over 30 years’ experience in the industry. He has spent the last 20 years in management roles at internationally renowned hotels.

Just prior to joining Deutsche Hospitality, he had had the role of Executive VP for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts South-East Asia & Australasia since 2018. Previous to that, he occupied operations and area positions for Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
