Bankside Hotel

The Bankside Hotel, a part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, will pass under the company’s management before the end of the month.

The hotel was originally opened in 2018 on London’s South Bank. It was later acquired by Vertiq Capital, who signed a hotel management agreement with Cycas in June 2022.

It boasts 161 rooms and 7 suites. Bankside Hotel also offers an artist-in-residence programme and has a dedicated ground floor gallery space.

An all-day restaurant known as Art Yard Bar & Kitchen, a private dining room, an outdoor terrace, a gym and four meeting rooms complete the hotel’s offer. Its central location, close to Waterloo, Blackfriars and London Bridge stations, allows guests to get around the city with ease.

To oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, Cycas has appointed Zac Pearse to the role of General Manager. Most recently, he spent 9 years at Malmaison London, after having managed hotels for the deVere Group and the Guoman and Thistle hotels.

We are proud to have added our first luxury property - the intimate Bankside Hotel - to our fast-growing portfolio, and very excited to be working with Marriott International on one of their most prestigious London hotels. The Bankside Hotel’s ethos of being a social hub with a passion for their community strongly mirrors Cycas’s people-focused values, and we look forward to bringing Cycas’s trademark superior service and outstanding guest experience to this culturally-vibrant part of London.
