Choice appoints key talents

Choice Hotels International has announced four executive appointments as it seeks continued growth following the acquisition and integration of Radisson Hotels Americas' portfolio. The appointments are part of the franchisor’s planned evolution into a more flexible and agile organisational structure.

Dominic Dragisich - Executive Vice-President of Operations & Chief Global Brand Officer

Dragisich joined Choice in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer, where he enhanced and streamlined the company's budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation processes, as well as oversaw several major growth operations. In his new role, he will be tasked with managing all of Choice’s brand segments, brand development, segment services, and corporate development. Prior to joining the franchisor, Dragisich worked at XO Communications, Deloitte, Nike, and Marriott International.

Scott Oaksmith - Chief Financial Officer

Choice’s former Senior Vice-President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer will now drive its continued growth by leading the company’s overall financial strategy and corporate growth initiatives. After starting his career at Wolfpoff & Company and then American Express, Oaksmith joined Choice in 2002. Over the last two decades, he has risen through the ranks and held several key positions, including SVP Finance and Chief Accounting Officer.

Raul Ramirez - Chief Segment & International Operations Officer

Ramirez also joined Choice in 2017, and originally held the role of Chief Strategy and International Operations Officer. He was responsible for the franchisor’s upscale, extended stay and core midscale and economy brands as well as the International Division. Previously, he held development and finance roles at Verizon, XO Communications, and NII Holdings.

Anna Scozzafava - Chief Strategy Officer & Senior Vice-President of Technology

Scozzafava has been promoted from Senior Vice-President and General Manager of Extended Stay Brands, a role she has held since 2019. After working in neuroscience research in the early 2000s, she joined CEB (now Gartner) in 2005 as an Analyst. In 2011, she was appointed Project Manager of Corporate and Business Strategy at Choice. Since then, she has risen through the ranks at the lodging franchisor and held various Planning and Corporate Strategy roles.

Choice has always been a growth company, and that growth is now accelerating. We are a stronger company than we were just a year ago. Choice's increased scope and the breadth of our portfolio give us new avenues for growth and an opportunity to expand and improve the services we provide to our franchisees, our guests, and our travel partners.
