Barceló Hotel Group is expanding its presence in Germany with the upcoming opening of the Occidental Dresden Newa, a four-star hotel situated in the historic center of Dresden. This new property will be the group’s second hotel in the country and is part of its broader strategy to grow within Central Europe.

The Occidental Dresden Newa, previously known as the Pullman Dresden Newa, is located just a short distance from the main train station and the city center. The hotel features 319 rooms, which will be extensively renovated starting in 2025. This repositioning will allow the hotel to operate under the Barceló Hotels & Resorts brand, aligning it with the company's standards for quality accommodations.

Dresden is known for its baroque architecture and significant landmarks, such as the Frauenkirche, the Zwinger, and the Semperoper. The Occidental Dresden Newa aims to serve travelers exploring these historical attractions.
