Barceló Hotel Group has announced the opening of its debut property in the Eastern European country. The 4* hotel is situated in the capital city of Warsaw.
Barceló Warsaw Powiśle is located in the centre of the Polish capital inside Elektrownia Powiśle, a former power plant. The site has been converted into a commercial centre with more than 70 restaurants and shopping units.
The hotel boasts 151 guestrooms, a restaurant, a lobby bar, a rooftop, a swimming pool, a gym, and six meeting rooms.
The opening comes as part of Barceló’s planned extension of its portfolio in the region, where it currently operates seven hotels. Later this summer, it will open a new hotel in Slovenia.
