El Barkouki returns to Dorchester Collection following her appointment as Global Director of Sales. In her new role, she reports to the brand’s Vice-President, Commercial, Philip Morris.
Listed as one of Britain’s most influential people in luxury in the Walpole Power List 2022, Arabella El Barkouki brings more than 20 years’ experience in leadership to Dorchester Collection. She is tasked with leading the brand’s global sales teams, developing sales strategies to boost growth and spearheading policies, objectives, and initiatives across its hotel portfolio.
She began her career in 2003 as Senior Sales Manager of The Hempel Hotel – London. From there, she moved to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts when she was appointed Director of Sales in 2006. Two years later, El Barkouki first joined Dorchester Collection in the role of Regional Director of Sales. Over six years with the brand, she would be promoted from this position to that of Director of Sales and Marketing, Le Richemond.
In November 2015, Arabella El Barkouki joined Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. She was initially Head of Regional Sales, Europe, before progressing through various roles such as Regional Director of Sales, Europe, Vice-President Sales, Europe, and Vice-President Sales, EMEA. Her final role at the group was Vice-President Global Sales Partners, which she held from January 2022 until her return to Dorchester Collection this autumn.
