The hospitality group has officially opened The Emporium Plovdiv – MGallery in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv.

The five-star boutique premium hotel boasts 61 guestrooms, including 12 suites. It also plays host to relaxation and fitness zones as well as an in-house restaurant, a champagne bar and a cocktail lounge. Large tourist attractions in the city such as the Roman Forum, Roman Stadium, Bishop's Basilica of Philippopolis and The Old Town are all within walking distance of the property.

It is the first ‘smart hotel’ opened by Accor in the region. It features smart rooms that allow guests to adapt the setting to their mood by adjusting the light, setting the ambience, opening and closing the curtains and controlling the audio-visual functions of the room.

The interior design of The Emporium Plovdiv – MGallery was created by award-winning architectural studio Sundukovy Sisters S+S. The original features of the building have been incorporated into the design and shimmering gold panels throughout the hotel reference Bulgaria’s heritage and history.
