The 14th edition of the Vatel Group International Convention which took place from 17 to 21 June 2020 was the opportunity to present the 3 new schools of the network.
This moment of reflection, carried out jointly with school principals, pedagogical managers and teachers, led to the announcement of the three new campuses in September 2020.
These will bring the total number of Vatel schools worldwide to 55:
- Vatel Bukhara (Uzbekistan),
- Vatel Nha Trang (3rd school in Vietnam),
- Vatel Tenerife (Canary Islands)
The theme of this virtual convention was the challenges posed by new generations of students. The adaptability of the teaching method, combining the enrichment of the programmes with a CSR component, the interactivity of teaching and the development of synergies between the group's schools.
As soon as Covid-19 spread, schools switched from face-to-face teaching to distance learning. In its press release, the Vatel Group states that: "The quality of Vatel education has not had to suffer from the generalized confinement" and thanks each school director and these teams "who, thanks to the commitment and involvement they have shown during this unprecedented period of confinement, have continued to accomplish their mission to enable the 9,000 Vatel students [...]".
At the same time, Vatel made its e-learning platform, designed for students, available free of charge to its professional partners. The initiative welcomed 3,900 Internet users who followed training courses on Vatel E-Learning, in French, English or Spanish.
