The terrorist attacks took their toll on Manhattan's hospitality industry.

Besides the twin towers, two other buildings were also classified as destroyed: Securities & Exchange Commission and a Marriott Hotel. 50 people lost their lives in the hotel, 41 of which were firefighters. 11 of the 940 registered guests are "unaccounted for" according to Cathy Duffy, a spokeswoman for Marriott.Today the hospitality industry remembers all those who were touched by these attacks.Today the hospitality industry remembers all those who were touched by these attacks.
