The Bacchus Mentoring Programme provides every final-year undergraduate in the Oxford School of Hospitality Management at Oxford Brookes University with a mentor from industry.
There are now 126 mentors on the programme, all of them senior figures from the hospitality sector, approximately 60% of whom are Oxford Brookes University alumni. The specific aims of the programme are to enhance student employability through greater engagement with leading industry players; to facilitate students’ smooth transition from higher education to graduate employment; to enable students to build their own networks of senior professional contacts throughout the hospitality industry; to build strong relationships between the School and its alumni; to provide students with realistic insights into the challenges and opportunities in hospitality management and leadership. There are now 126 mentors on the programme, all of them senior figures from the hospitality sector, approximately 60% of whom are Oxford Brookes University alumni.
