Campaign - The Peninsula Paris - FERRANDI Paris

My name is Nicolas Redon and I am honoured that Ferrandi Paris and the Peninsula Paris have nominated me for the Best Professional Achievement category at the Worldwide Hospitality Awards 2021.

France shines in the eyes of the world through its luxury hotels and particularly through its Parisian Palaces. When my career in the hotel industry took shape, my goal was always to be part of these mythical hotels and to contribute to the fact that Paris continues to make the world dream.

I was born on 17 June 1995 and have always been surrounded by the hospitality industry. I would like to dedicate the start of my career to my grandfather, a former Director of Food & Beverage, who passed on to me his passion for hospitality and taught me the art of welcoming.

It all started when I was 16, during a summer job where I had the chance to express my first love for cooking in a restaurant in Paris. After this experience, the following summer I discovered the service and also the kitchen a second time.  In order to develop my skills, I then joined the reception as a Night Auditor.

The passion was born.

Joining a prestigious school such as Ferrandi was to be a springboard to make my dreams come true and open the doors of the hotels I always admired: the Palaces.

True to my first experiences, I discovered this world at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris as a Guest Relations trainee. Following this first adventure in ultra luxury, I was convinced that this world was made for me and a new page in my life began at the Royal Monceau Raffles Paris, as a sales trainee. This experience was an obvious choice for me because of its combination of customer relations and strategy. I extended my professional project with a new challenge as a sales trainee for two emblematic Parisian hotels: the Plaza Athénée and the Meurice.

Today, as the youngest Sales Manager of the Parisian Palaces, I work at the Peninsula Paris where the challenge is present every day. In charge of Latin America, Entertainment, Sport and Corporate, I strive to make this Parisian palace shine by developing our commercial relationships in order to make it a major player in French luxury.

My objective is to continue my evolution in this market, in order to be one day the General Manager of a Palace and become an ambassador of French savoir-faire. My professional experience and knowledge acquired during my Bachelor and Master degrees at Ferrandi Paris help me to advance this project.
