At the Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Seville, Spain we always have in mind those in need. For that reason, we are all aware that with our daily work we can manage to make many people happy and what is more, healthy. We are proud to see how our bath amenities can have a second life and above all, how they can change other people's lives too.
We started working on this project back in 2018 and it was not until 2019 when we started to deploy it.
We needed to find a strong partner with the same collaborative spirit as ours who was eager to collect our soap bars, sanitize and transform them into a more simple soap bar.
In addition, we needed to find another partner willing to deliver this soap to people in need as it is the case of people in Candemba-Uri in Guinea.
We can not me more proud to be part of a group of strong partners whose efforts are reducing illness, providing shelter and education to children who see a soap bar as a luxury element.
Bath amenities donation to women in prison was not an easy task at first either. We are glad that the former Director of Seville's women prison, Maribel, was eager to open their doors to this initiative.
Over the years, they have been very grateful to us as rewarding women with this has become part of their educational project. Women found another reason to improve, to behave, to collaborate. In a nutshell, to become a better person.
For all these reasons, we can not be happier and more proud of all the work done. We have a sense of having accomplished a great initiative that could be easily transferred to other properties within and outside our own company.
