Campaign - Chaud Devant!, Louvre Hotels Group’s culinary university
Despite the pandemic crisis, Louvre Hotels Group opened a unique place dedicated to its talents’ development at the heart of the famed French gastronomy hub and largest fresh produce market in the world, Rungis International Market. The leading hospitality group has created Chaud Devant, a culinary university dedicated to in-house training in catering and hospitality. This unique venue embodies the Group's passion for catering, hospitality, and transmission of knowledge.
Though COVID largely slowed down the activity in the hospitality universe, Louvre Hotels Group favors training and aims to renew the dining experience in the hotel industry, bringing it back to its glory days. All of Louvre Hotels Group’s talents in its 10 brands in France and internationally can train here. The trainees learn about the different gastronomical and hospitality trades through an immersive and innovative experience. Globally, more than 700 people have been trained in Chaud Devant during the crisis. A very good way to develop talents’ loyalty, but also to develop their skills before the reopening of hotels and restaurants.
The Group's Human Resources and Catering Teams have designed forty or so training courses, to be given by the Group's restaurant chefs, true "passers of knowledge" eager to transmit their culinary expertise. In addition, some modules have been designed in partnership with renowned French chefs, such as Philippe Renard and the “Cuisine mode d'emploi” teams, who will address broader themes like world cuisine and pastry making. The courses will be conducted in person or via e-learning and cutting-edge learning methods such as virtual reality.
