To engage with our mice clients during the lockdown, showcasing a fresh & safe perspective on meetings and sharing a new site inspection virtual tool.

LE MERIDIEN RA

The original idea was to engage with our mice clients during the lockdown, showcasing a fresh, safe & fun perspective on meetings / conferences and sharing a new tool that allows them to partake in a virtual site inspection.

The PURSUED OBJECTIVES were for all domestic and international accounts, activate our sales efforts by teasing our client database with a new perspective on “meetings” according to post-covid market trends, and develop an interactive tool for remote site inspections.

First, we developed 10 Au Soleil meeting spaces with their corresponding food concepts. Once the concept and photography were completed, two presentations were designed via CANVAS:  Au Soleil Concept teaser followed by a phone call, and a “Call to Action Offer” two weeks later (an specific offer “All in One” sent followed by a phone call).

With this procedure, we were able to actively engage in conversation with our client database. The launch was divided in three phases: Active Client Database and Marriott Global Sales Teams Phase,  Dormant Client Database and New prospective accounts. This process lasted 90 days after which the content was uploaded onto our website https://cutt.ly/2rgvgmq  which gave it visibility on all our social networks.

Secondly, we developed a virtual site Inspection. Foreseeing long term travel restrictions, it became evident that we needed to offer our potential buyers an easy way to explore the immense meeting areas of our beautiful property. We opt for the Matterport platform due to the 3D high definition imagery and detail and the special features as dollhouse mode, measurements and plans. On a second phase, Matterport virtual tour was embedded in a special app from were clients could access all Meetings & Conventions information.

The result were astonishing, and still going. At present moment, the volume of leads exceeds 2019.

And the most gratifying is that Au Soleil Meetings concept was adopted by Le Meridien Brand as a Global Corporate Program for 2022.
