Having been in the international school business for over 20 years now, they have had more than 5000 students on their campus who left their homes to make a temporary home in Luzern, Switzerland

Luzern is famous as a tourism hub, but it is also an important place for international education with boarding schools, international hotel schools, Hochschule and a University with international programmes. The Project = Crowdsourced Students researched, tested and selected for over 1 year relevant bits and pieces of information. Once all data was gathered and placed into our wiki project, they structured the data into 7 categories -# Top Info ? all that is essential for international students -# Top Rumours ? what might be perceived but not always true about Switzerland/ Swiss people -# Why Luzern? ? the top 10 list of why Luzern is one of the best places to be and to study -# Do's and Don'ts ? important to know if new to Swiss culture -# Education ? Luzern is also a university town and hosts around 1,000 international students -# Food ? In different categories the best and cheapest food places available in Luzern -# Student Gems ? special tips and selections from students participating on version 1.0They believed it is time for the first ever international student guide app for all the cities in the world. All content should be aimed at the specific needs of international, English-speaking students, who spend many years in Luzern. They have specific needs, limited resources and would want to feel “home”.Questions can be: How does the bus system work? Where can I purchase good chocolates? Where can i cut my hair? Is there a good English-speaking hairdresser? Where can I find home-cooked Singaporean noodles? The answers were of course not with the locals but with our own students. There is no specific student information easy available: There are many portals on the web and even city apps available but they are aimed at locals or tourists and certainly do not answer every question. They need information on how to make Luzern a second home. Now there is a solution for this: The world’s first international student guide available as a free apps for the phone
