Philippe Perd combines several managerial qualities: first of all a real sense of organization, then a permanent concern for business development which is part of a mid-term vision, thirdly an understanding of what service to the clients means, and finally a taste for quality, even more for excellence, that he succeeds to mix with the requirements of strict management.

Summary_ As a man on duty, he is creative, organized, obstinate and responsible. Careful of keeping close human relations, he is also sensitive to the results, which makes him a successful manager. The meaning of efficiency is not to be neglected. He is loyal to the shareholders and manages to achieve the challenges he has accepted._ But what most characterize the original style of management of Philippe Perd, it is mainly his model of governance. Every year, he gathers his Executive Committee and all heads of department for a two-day seminar. Together with his team, after daring and straight forward discussions, he elaborates the direction, the mid-term vision, the keys to success, and, calling upon the identity of the identity of the company and the strength of its values, he pushes forward to optimization of social relations and team building. He is the creator and most of all the user of a management method that could be called “shared strategy”, which is not a simple technique to motivate the associates. He really wants to share his vision with his associates and ask the hierarchy to allow for challenging discussions at every level : from the concierge to the maid, from the bartender to the maitre d’, from the accountant to the training manager. He thus wants give added value to each and everyone’s work. The business plan becomes a collective project. Every member of the staff adopts the strategy as his or hers, and puts it in place with more conviction. He wants to makes his associates to consider themselves as builders of cathedrals and not only stone carvers. The members of the staff are not subjects of an autocratic force, nor they have threats to fear, but they become allies for the battle to be fought together. And this makes it possible to harvest the fruits of collective adventure, economically as personally._ In his own way, Philippe Perd is a modern leader who knows how to delegate and trust. He unleashes the energy and the initiatives which allows daily to solve the majority of problems. There is no need to be afraid when working together with him. Each staff member accomplishes his tasks the best he can, first of all for himself, but also for him, because he should not be disappointed after putting his trust in people.
