An exclusive menu journey throughout Portugal, based on our Chef memories, meetings and inspirations for the last two years.
We opened Le Monument restaurant in November 2018 with the French starred Chef Julien Montbabut. On the beginning of the restaurant, the concept was French cuisine with French products as Maison Albar Hotels is a French hotels collection, promoting the French “art de recevoir”.
We started to realize that our guests wanted a more unique and local experience. Our Chef, that didn’t know Portugal before moving here, started traveling around Portugal, meeting the suppliers, the different regions and the terroir. During his journey, the Chef started collecting memories and moments, stories and inspirations for new dishes, and this journey throughout Portugal that we provide to our guests, with a lot of feeling, curiosities and unique moments.
