Between hotelier the competition is strong and also with other sectors. A lot is at stakes to keep delivering a good service and responding to the customers’ needs. Sommet Education will hand over the trophy to an impactful initiative for talent acquisition.
The trophy was won in 2022 by NH Hotel Group for the NH Hiring Toolkit.
NH Hotel Group designed a program to meet managers' needs to strengthen their recruiting strategies in a busy environment where they could not attend traditional training.
The turnover rate in the hospitality industry has historically been high, hovering around 70%. NH Hotel Group observed that this trend was true in some of its departments such as F&B, Front Office and Housekeeping. The company had a reasonable recruitment process that helped meet the organization's selection needs in a timely manner, however, this process was decentralized. This meant that HR was not able to support all the processes that occur daily in each hotel due to the geographical dispersion and the volume of tasks. This project was created with the objective to provide the operations teams, who are responsible for the selection processes, with the necessary structured training and resources around the selection process in hotels, and also to ensure an excellent and homogeneous candidate experience throughout NH Hotel Group.

"Jobs au Talent" by Accor: A recruitment event without resume, based on a selection by simulation
An inclusive event, open to all profiles
A fast and committed recruitment process for the candidates
An event that can be replicated in several regions
A "turnkey" formula for implementation
For some time now, there have been concepts of CV-free recruitment or same-day recruitment, and also of simulations rather than traditional interviews to verify skills or competencies.
Talent Jobs combines all these concepts into one. In addition, we immerse candidates in a customer experience to make them live the spirit of hospitality.

The campaigns were designed to address an immediate issue, but Work Your Way was also developed to increase Accor’s brand awareness in the market and build on its reputation as the employer of choice in the hospitality sector.
