After the success of the first edition, Tourinvest, the French tourism investment forum, will be held next week on September 8 at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel. Its goal is to stimulate investment in the tourism and hospitality industries by encouraging meetings between operators, developers, investors and local authorities.
Throughout an intensive day, participants will discover current market opportunities, urban development plans and strategies for conurbations. The goal is also to facilitate the mounting of investment projects.
"France cannot pretend to remain the number-one tourist destination worldwide without renewing its supply and making the necessary investments. The Tourinvest Forum is an original opportunity in France to bring together project coordinators and equity holders. It is also an opportunity to take a look at the causes of roadblocks that make major operations difficult and to stimulate the appeal of France," explains Georges Panayotis, president of MKG Group and proponent of the Forum.
The event is organized around presentations by MKG Hospitality that will cover tourism investment trends in France and Europe; panels will discuss themes such as the tourism strategies adopted by major destinations and the means that need to be implemented in order to accelerate the development of new projects; and above all a "speed networking" session allowing creators and investors to meet face to face.
