A franchise partnership between IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan and Aoshima Resort Co. will later this month result in the opening of the first Holiday Inn Resort branded property in Japan upon rebranding the Miyazaki Aoshima Palmbeach Hotel. Although the hotel is opening its doors July 16th, the transformation is expected to last until October.The property on Aoshima Island in Japan's Miyazaki Prefecture offers 214 guestrooms with views overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The hotel additionally offers six restaurants, seven events rooms, hot springs, and an indoor pool. The hotel is also near attractions like the Kodomono Kuni theme park, the Miyazaki Country Club.Naoki Toyama, President of Aoshima Resort Co., expect this partnership with the largest international hotel group in Japan to not only stimulate international business, but attract many domestic tourists as well.
