EEvian has waited 70 years for this! On the French shores of Lake Leman, this month the spa town will welcome a new upscale hotel. With its absolutely contemporary architectural concept and its hews of stone and terracotta, the Hilton Evian enters this somewhat stuffy universe of spa towns. The Cosmopolitan bar is discrete and cosy, the restaurant Cannelle fresh and luminous and the urban pub Riva Restaurant Bar & Lounge offer an ambiance that is at once voluntarily chic and relaxed. The hotel benefits from an ideal location, right on the shore. Most of the rooms offer an incomparable view of it from their balcony. The property has made two clientele segments its priority. That for seminars first and foremost with its large hospitality infrastructure and 600 sq.m reception room. The geographic position on the Swiss-French border offers an advantage in terms of accessibility, while it also guarantees incentive activities in the winter and summer alike thanks to the lake and nearby ski area Portes du Soleil. These two assets are also able seduce the Leisure clientele that the property would like to catch. To reinforce its supply, the first Buddha Bar spa – an emanation of the hotspot of Parisian nightlife– will open its doors in mid-December in a 1,800 sq.m space on three levels. The ninth Hilton in France is emblematic of the Anglo-Saxon group’s shift towards well-being hospitality, reflecting the evolution of its mix that consists of 60% leisure clientele today. The Hilton Evian will thus join the collection of “Hilton Worldwide Resorts”.
