The project follows a franchise agreement with BC Hospitality Group A/S (BCHG).

Hilton Copenhagen City Centre, a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property, will open in the heart of Copenhagen in 2020. The seven-storey hotel will feature 400 guest rooms, including 44 suites.

"By 2027, Denmark is expected to attract more than 14 million international arrivals, making it one of Europe's fastest growing travel destinations," said Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, EMEA, Hilton.

The hotel will feature a fitness center and two restaurants. For corporate events and gatherings, the hotel will offer more than 600 square meters of function and meeting space.

As of January 1, 2017, Hilton Hotels & Resorts had 570 properties, totaling 208,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
