Hard Rock Hotel is continuing its expansion in Europe with the opening of a new property in Davos, in the Swiss Alps, planned for the end of 2017.

The Hard Rock Hotel Group announces the development of a new European property: Rock Hotel Davos, in the Swiss Alps. Expected to open by December 2017, it will be located in the city center of Davos, close to the train station, ski lifts and main museums, as well as the congress center. It will be part of a 130-year-old building, which also houses the recently renovated Spenglers Hotel Davos, and will offer 111 rooms including 31 apartments. Guests will also have access to a restaurant, several bars (including one situated on the hotel's roof), three conference rooms, as well as a historic chapel for various events.

"As Hard Rock continues to grow globally, the brand targets expansion in influential cities and resort destinations around the world, especially in Europe,” said Dale Hipsh, senior vice president of hotels for Hard Rock International. Rock Hotel Davos is the fourth address of the group in Europe, and joins a portfolio of 25 properties worldwide. Other hotels are currently under development in New York, London, Costa Rica, Dubai and Shenzhen.
