Like all of Southern Europe, Italy is benefiting from the first signs of economic recovery and this may be felt on its hotel activity. The positive evolutions of indicators in February, particularly thanks to the dynamism of carnival season, only confirm the trend observed in recent months and the optimistic forecasts for 2014. MKG Hospitality’s forecasts suggest a positive evolution of results under the impact of improved economic conditions and the decrease in pressure to lower hotel prices.
