The Hotel Atlantic, previously a Kempinski Group property in Hamburg, joins the Marriott International Autograph collection.
The partnership
At the beginning of 2018, Marriott announced its intention to attach three German Kempinski hotels to Autograph Collection, including the Atlantic Kempinski Hotel Hamburg. This became a reality at the beginning of 2021 with this new entry.
As with all soft branding initiatives, the Atlantic Hotel remains economically and legally independent under the management of its owner, the Broermann Health & Heritage Hotels Group. This strategic partnership allows the hotel to benefit from the visibility of the Autograph Collection brand, as well as the digital channels of Marriott International. In addition, guests can now enjoy Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programm.
The Atlantic Hotel
Founded in 1909 under the name Hamburg Grand Hotel, the hotel's ambition at the time was to welcome a clientele of privileged cruise passengers. Since then, it has become an emblematic hotel in the Hamburg park.
The hotel offers 221 rooms and suites, as well as a five-point catering service: Atlantic Alstersalon, Atlantic Grill & Health, Atlantic Restaurant, Atlantic Lobby Bar and Atlantic Artitum. In addition, guests can enjoy a wellness area with massages, Finnish sauna, infrared cabin and heated indoor pool overlooking the Alster River, a fitness area and a PrivateMax movie theater.
