
Despite the closure of the city of Deauville during the G8 summit, area hotels showed excellent results during the two-day international meeting.

Average rates went up by 26.2%, from 113.40 € to 143.1 € due to the anticipated influx of people. This subsequently lead to a RevPAR that was 53% higher this year, at 110.50 € than last year’s 72.20 €.Nathalie Sanacal, Director of Communication for Hotel Royal Barriere in Deauville stated, “Our hotel was already booked by various consulates.
