The Aix en Provence-based group raised 90 million euros and has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire Palmiers Océan (56 campsites)

The Palmiers Océan tour operator with 56 campsites representing 1,800 mobile homes could become part of the European Camping Group. The latter also has other brands in the sector such as Homùair, Al Fresco or go4camp and is developing in an industry that still mostly consists of independent players.

The acquisition of Palmiers Océan could thus secure the presence of European Camping Group among the groups in the European outdoor hotel industry.

"Palmiers Océan strengthens our supply in France and in particular for works councils. Our intention is to keep the Palmiers Océan brand, recognised by its customers, and to support its development by bringing it our international network and expertise on the Internet," said Alain Calmé, President of the European Camping Group and Philippe de Trémiolles, Chief Financial Officer.

It should be noted that to achieve its development goals, European Camping Group raised 90 million euros in funding.
