As announced by its CEO Sébastien Bazin in June, the group is continuing its acquisitions by developing its portfolio in the USA.

21c Museum Hotels was created in 2006 by Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson to revitalize Louisville which was in the process of desertification. The co-founders launched their brand by renovating warehouses to include contemporary art and hybrid and open spaces. Accor Hotels adds 911 rooms and 8 hotels.

In addition to organizing exhibitions and bringing contemporary art inside the hotels, the 21c Museum Hotels offer a concept of catering and are opened to the neighbourhood A brand linked to the latest trends has been added to the group's portfolio and offers interesting development prospects on the American continent.
