2018 will have brought a new wind to Radisson Hotel Group, led by Mr. Gonzalez-Tejera in 2016 after a stint at NH Hotels. He will come to the 24th Global Lodging Forum to share his vision and strategy for developing the brands in the group's portfolio.
With a new identity for the group in 2018 in order to capitalize on the reputation of Radisson, a new brand with Radisson Collection launched in June 2018 that has a total of 20 properties (including the pipeline) the group was on a positive trend. 300 million euros are being invested to renovate the properties and maintain the standards of the Radisson Hotel group brands. 40 hotels were signed in 2018 compared to 24 in 2017, representing a commitment to open 7,196 new rooms over the past year, including 4,083 new keys opened...
The year 2018 ended with a historically high EBITDA. The group's attributes have not escaped Jin Jiang International Hotels. The Chinese group acquired the shares sold by HNA and now holds the group's capital. The Middle Kingdom is thus developing its upscale portfolio to continue to dazzle.
