The hospitality industry keeps consolidating, last announcement being the arrival of Vienna House within Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio.
The American sets a solid foot into central Europe, the Austrian brand being present in Germany (31 hotels), Poland (6 hotels), the Czech Republic (3 hotels) as well as Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, and Romania with one property in each country.
The brand as been acquired from HR Group for €44 million. Already partner of Wyndham, HR Group will continue to own, lease, or operate Vienna House’s properties that will now be named as Vienna House by Wyndham.
