Vastint France has acquired the site in the east of Marseille consisting of a 31,000 m² office complex and a 7-hectare land plot, of which 1 ha is protected forest. The international real estate organisation plans to construct a Business Garden on the site.
Located in the 11th district of Marseille, 15 minutes from the city centre and 35 minutes from Marseille Provence Airport, Domaine Vallée Verte joins Vastint’s portfolio of 7 Business Gardens. It already includes sites in Bucharest, Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, Poznań, and Wrocław, with another one under planning in Milan. A Business Garden is a large and environmentally-friendly office building complex with surrounding green areas.
Business Garden Marseille will offer approximately 80,000 m² of office space. Vehicles will be eliminated from the complex by park houses that will serve as an acoustic barrier against the neighbouring A50 motorway. Domaine Vallée Verte’s 1 ha of protected forest will be situated at the centre of the Business Garden. Finally, the banks of the nearby Huveaune River will become garden areas and act as the principal pedestrian entrance.
Currently, Domaine Vallée Verte’s 31,000 m² of office and logistics space is housed in 4 buildings. 95% of it is leased to 30 tenants. Additional amenities on the site include childcare facilities, a concierge service, two restaurants, conference rooms, a gym, and a shuttle service to Barasse railway station.
