Lindner Hotel Group is strengthening its presence on Sylt Island, a popular North Sea destination in Germany, by incorporating the traditional establishment in Kampen and expanding its Stadt Hamburg hotel.
In May 2024, the Lindner Hotel Group acquired the Stadt Hamburg hotel, located in Westerland. This luxury property, managed by owners in Germany, now offers 15 serviced apartments. The establishment features a restaurant and a bistro open in the evenings, in addition to Hardy’s restaurant and bar, and provides access to the hotel's fitness room and the QIARA spa.
The second new destination is the Strönhof Kampen (formerly Walter’s Hof). This property includes 15 well-appointed apartments and a private wellness area featuring a pool, sauna, steam room, and relaxation area. The garden and terrace offer views of the distinctive dune landscape typical of Kampen.
“This development is part of our desire to expand our presence in this hotspot for island and beach vacations in Germany. By acquiring these exceptional properties, we also strengthen our position as an operator capable of efficiently managing projects.” - Jörg Lindner
The Lindner Hotel Group recently expanded its portfolio by integrating the hotel properties of its partner, 12.18 Group. This integration allows both companies to focus on their core activities, which include the acquisition and repositioning of hotel properties, as well as their operation. With this acquisition, the Lindner Hotel Group has not only broadened its destinations but has also introduced two new brands in the leisure and luxury segments: L-Collection and 7Pines Hotels & Resorts.
“Thanks to our multibrand strategy, we are able to offer targeted and specific proposals for each target group.” - Jörg Lindner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Lindner Hotel Group
The Lindner Hotel Group has also won several awards this year, including the “German Brand Award” and the “German Stevie Award” for the successful repositioning of the Lindner Hotels & Resorts brand. Other properties in the group have also received accolades, such as me and all hotel Düsseldorf and Lindner Hotel Mallorca Portals Nous.
The group plans to continue its growth, with expansion projects for the me and all hotels and 7Pines Hotels & Resorts brands. Over the past year, the group's portfolio has increased from 31 to 39 properties, including the reopening of the Lindner Hotel Boltenhagen after modernization work. The company has also acquired alpine destinations, such as The Hide Hotel Flims and the ERIKA Boutiquehotel Kitzbühel.
Lindner Hotels AG operates 39 hotels in ten European countries and the United States, with six more establishments in development. It employs around 2,500 people and expects a revenue of approximately 330 million euros for 2024. The group operates four brands under one roof. Lindner Hotels & Resorts became part of JdV by Hyatt in 2023, further strengthening their position in the international market. Additionally, the World of Hyatt loyalty program offers customers access to a wide range of experiences.
The acquisition of the me and all hotels brand by Hyatt in June 2024 aims to position it for faster expansion in Europe and beyond. With this acquisition, me and all hotels has become an independent brand within Hyatt's global lifestyle portfolio.
