FairMoove, a key player in responsible tourism, continues its strategy of external growth with the acquisition of two new startups: We Go GreenR, a specialist in eco-responsible accommodations, and FiG (Food Index for Good), a platform dedicated to the decarbonization of the restaurant industry.

These acquisitions allow FairMoove to enhance its offerings in the field of sustainable tourism, expanding its action across all sectors related to tourism, from accommodation to catering, as well as travel agencies and tourist destinations.

A well-established external growth strategy

After acquiring Auxigène, Betterfly Tourism, and Double Sens in 2023, FairMoove continues to grow with these two strategic acquisitions. Founded in 2020, We Go GreenR already supports 2,800 professionals in the hotel sector in their ecological transition. It offers a booking platform for engaged accommodations and online training to help establishments reduce their water, energy, and waste consumption.

On its part, FiG, founded by Eva Genel and Elise Baron, addresses the environmental impact of the restaurant industry. The company has developed, with the support of ADEME, a carbon footprint calculator specifically designed for restaurants, as well as training modules aimed at reducing food waste and promoting low-carbon menus.

A growing B2B division

The two startups will be integrated into FairMoove's B2B division, led by Hubert Vendeville, founder of Betterfly Tourism, with the support of Stéphane Vincent-Montagnon, co-founder of We Go GreenR. This division, which now has 38 employees, offers turnkey solutions to help tourism professionals improve their environmental performance while complying with new sustainability regulations (CSRD, SFDR, carbon accounting).

The acquisition of We Go GreenR and FiG allows FairMoove to cover the entire value chain of tourism, thereby becoming a global player in assisting professionals towards more responsible practices. “Alone, we go fast, but together we go further,” said Jean-Pierre Nadir, president and founder of FairMoove, emphasizing the importance of the synergies created by this acquisition strategy.

A promising future

With an expected B2B revenue of 2 million euros in 2024, up from 1 million in 2023, and a target of 4 million euros in 2025, FairMoove is positioning itself as a central player in the ecological transformation of the tourism sector. Furthermore, its B2C activities continue to grow, with 5,000 travelers expected this year, reinforcing the company’s ability to simultaneously manage its two pillars, B2B and B2C.
